Our Facility
Our first facility representing 22,000 square feet is on Jackson Street in Holyoke. This facility will allow us to expand to 28,000 once we are ready to. In total we expect to have about 36 member owned grow pods at Jackson St unless we expand in place by having some two-level grow rooms.
One of the many benefits of being in Holyoke is that, as the first planned industrial city in America, it is powered by its own hydropower system and, as such, the cost for electricity, the biggest single cost item for indoor grow, is half of the rate in the rest of the state.
Below are the conceptual layouts of the space:

The entries and exits, halls and common spaces, sallyports, garages and mother library are all on 24/7 video recording with a line to the police department. Movement into and out of the building of cash or product is always accompanied by a live security guard. Each member-owned vegetation room and each member-own flower room will be on 24/7 video monitoring allowing each grower to see their plants whenever they want via smart phone, tablet, laptop or computer.
The identikey entry drying trimming rooms are coop owned and lent to the growers on a two-week scheduled basis.
Once fully occupied, The Coop will seek to have facilities to house up to 200 member owned grow pods consisting of a total of 100,000 square feet of canopy.
The Coop plans to open an extraction and edibles manufacturing facility as it expands beyond the Jackson Street facility.
